A friend to all

In June, there is a primary election for the Assembly seat in the 63rd District, a much-needed change. I want to tell you, there is a fine candidate among you in Rancho Cucamonga.

This man is a true friend. His friendship with my daughter and me is a long-term blessing to me.

I could be just a citizen of the Inland Empire, just one vote - but we are not.

Every vote counts. I believe this wholly.

Rancho Cucamonga Mayor Don Kurth is extremely compassionate and conveys to every person a deep sense of their individual worth. I know this from my experience with Don. He became my friend through community activities with The David and Margaret Home in La Verne.

Don intentionally took time as he reached out to the teenagers, while I worked for the agency treating adolescent girls; he took real concern and offered hope.
