Seniors take to the stage in Silver Fox Follies

RANCHO CUCAMONGA - Dave Nunn believes there's life even after you get your AARP card.

Nunn, the master of ceremonies for Sunday's "Silver Fox Follies" at the Lewis Family Playhouse, will start the evening with that fitting statement. But one look at the group of 65 singing, dancing and acting seniors and you could argue that the fun part of life begins after you get your AARP card.

Cecilia Diaz, 74, doesn't feel or look her age when she's performing one of the tap dancing routines for the show.

"I feel young at heart," she said.

This is the first large-scale performance by the seniors, whose stint on stage will coincide with the Founder's Day festivities this weekend. The event, which will benefit the meals program for homebound seniors, has been sold out for weeks.
