Sibling rivalry continues on into reporter's adulthood
My relationship with my brother is like most sibling relationships, and by that I mean we're always at each other's throats.
This weekend my brother, George, turns 28, and I still think of him as a child.
It could be because I have spent most of my time cleaning up after him, literally.
Sure that's the big sister in me complaining, but growing up with him has not been easy.
A good indication of our flawed relationship is when my parents found 5-year-old me in my brother's crib, pounding on his head.
That didn't go over very well.
Our rivalry peaked when we moved from Illinois to California into a two-bedroom apartment.
I was 9 at the time.
Three years later, we moved into a home, also two bedrooms.
We were both in each other's space. The following is an example of a routine conversation between us:
"Get your stuff off of my side."
"It's not on your side."
"Yes, it is."
"No, it's not."
"Yes, it is
