MEDIA: Stevens remains invested in UCLA football gig

Matt Stevens, a commercial real estate banker by day and college football analyst by delight, figures he's found the perfect loophole in his life.

Already counting the days to start his 10thseason as Chris Roberts' booth mate on the UCLA football radio broadcasts for KLAC-AM (570) through ISP Sports, Stevens embraces the fact that he can stay active in the currently volatile world of banking, while banking on the knowledge that every fall, he's investing time in a higher-profile role for his alma mater.

"I feel I'm the luckiest guy in the world right now," the former Rose Bowl-winning Bruins quarterback said the other day from his San Diego-based Churchill Mortgage Capital office, where he's been a vice president the past five years.
